The person believed to have the highest IQ in the world, South Korean scientist YoungHoon Kim, has expressed strong beliefs about the existence of God, claiming that mathematics itself can be used to prove God’s reality.
YoungHoon Kim, whose reported IQ is 276, says that God is 100 percent real and that this truth can be demonstrated through three simple mathematical principles.
First Principle: A Line Cannot Exist Without a Point
In geometry, a line cannot begin without a point.
According to Kim, this principle also applies to existence itself. Everything must have a starting point, and that initial point is God, who set the universe and life into motion.
Second Principle: An Infinite Past Cannot Be Crossed
Kim explains that if time had no beginning and extended infinitely into the past, the present moment would never have been reached.
In mathematical terms, counting from negative infinity to zero is impossible without a first number. Therefore, the universe must have had a beginning.
Third Principle: Power Must Come From a Source
According to Kim, mathematics—particularly multiplication—shows that power cannot arise on its own and must come from a source.
For the universe to begin, expand, and maintain order, the intervention of a supreme and powerful force was necessary.

In a recent social media post that went viral, Kim shared religious reflections influenced by multiple faiths.
He stated that the return of Jesus Christ is a belief shared by both Islam and Christianity, highlighting common ground between the two religions.
Exceptional Intelligence and Academic Background
At 36 years old, YoungHoon Kim’s reported IQ of 276 is considered the highest ever recorded. An IQ above 140 is typically classified as genius-level, while renowned scientists such as Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking were estimated to have IQs around 160.
Kim is an AI researcher with a deep interest in religious studies. He has also earned a degree in Theology from Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea.
