گوادر کے علاقے پرانا ملا بند وارڈ میں رات کے وقت نصب کی گئی سولر اسٹریٹ لائٹ نامعلوم چور کی جانب سے نکال کر چوری کر لی گئی۔ علاقہ مکینوں کے مطابق یہ واقعہ رات کی تاریکی میں پیش آیا، جس سے شہریوں میں شدید تشویش پائی جاتی ہے۔

اس سے پہلے بھی کئی مرتبہ سیوریج لائنوں کے ڈھکن چوری کیے جا چکے ہیں، جس سے علاقے میں عوامی املاک کے تحفظ پر سوالات پیدا ہو گئے ہیں۔

علاقہ کے رہائشیوں نے کہا ہے کہ سولر لائٹس عوام کی سہولت اور سڑکوں کی روشنائی کے لیے نصب کی گئی تھیں، لیکن اس چوری نے ان کے استعمال اور حفاظت پر اثر ڈالا ہے۔

مقامی باشندوں نے انتظامیہ اور قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں سے مطالبہ کیا ہے کہ واقعے میں ملوث چور کو فوری طور پر گرفتار کیا جائے اور مستقبل میں ایسے واقعات کی روک تھام کے لیے مؤثر اقدامات کیے جائیں۔
