Sun-Ways, based in Ecublens near Lausanne, has designed solar panels that can be installed by a specialized train in just a few minutes. The system rolls out the panels directly between the rails, without interrupting train traffic.
Each panel is made to withstand harsh weather, heavy vibrations, and dirt, ensuring reliable performance even under the tough conditions of daily rail operations. What makes this idea truly revolutionary is that it uses existing infrastructure, eliminating the need for new land or large-scale construction.
