ایک اور زبیر... ہم کب جاگیں گے؟
کل رات ایک اور قیمتی جان ہم سے چھن گئی — بلدیہ کا ایک محنت کش، زبیر، اپنی ڈیوٹی کے دوران واپڈا کے بوسیدہ اور خطرناک تاروں کی نذر ہو گیا۔
ایک اور ہنستا مسکراتا چہرہ، ایک اور محنتی مزدور، ایک اور ماں کی امید، ایک اور بچوں کا کفیل — ہم سے ہمیشہ کے لیے جدا ہو گیا۔
ہم حسب معمول "إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ" پڑھیں گے، دو لمحے افسوس کریں گے، دعا دیں گے کہ "اللہ تعالیٰ جنت الفردوس میں اعلیٰ مقام عطا فرمائے" — اور پھر بھول جائیں گے۔
⚡ مسئلہ کہاں ہے؟
🛠 کیا تبدیلی ممکن ہے؟

Another Zubair... When Will We Wake Up?
Last night, we lost yet another precious life — Zubair, a hardworking municipal employee, tragically died during duty due to WAPDA’s old and hazardous electric wires.
Another smiling face.
Another devoted worker.
Another mother’s hope.
Another child’s sole provider... gone forever.
As usual, we’ll recite “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon”, express sorrow, offer a brief prayer — “May Allah grant him a high place in Jannah” — and then, we’ll forget.
Next week, it might be another Zubair who becomes the victim of the same rotten wires.
Same scene.
Same words.
Same silence.
Same negligence!
⚡ Where Does the Problem Lie?
This isn’t just an "accident" — it’s the result of:
- Negligence
- Mismanagement
- and Deliberate Ignorance
How many times has this happened?
How many times has the media raised its voice?
How many promises has WAPDA made?
Yet these dangerous wires remain unchanged even today.
🛠 Is Change Possible?
Yes — but only if we wake up as a nation.
Not just mourning — but demanding action:
- Immediate replacement of all worn-out and exposed electrical wires
- Provision of proper safety gear to municipal workers
- Accountability of WAPDA and relevant officials
- Thorough investigation of every such incident, and punishment of those responsible
🧠 The Real Question Is:
Was Zubair’s death just another news story?
Or is it a question for all of us?
Do we only mourn death — or are we willing to act to save lives?
❗ We Must Wake Up Now. Or Else...
